Finance - Administrative Associate

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of HQ Accounting, the Administrative Associate performs administrative, payroll, treasury duties requiring the exercise of independent judgment and the timely completion of complex administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or related field,  degree in Accounting is a plus
  • Reviews and proofreads communications to come from the department
  • Coordinates logistics and plans for finance retreats
  • Coordinates travel logistics for training participants
  • Coordinates team meetings, takes notes and tracks performance against various project plans
  • Drafts and Edits Finance Communications, including training materials and presentations
  • Ensures timely reporting and reconciliation of Credit card and pre-paid travel accounts
  • Serves as project coordinator for EcoBank project and completes other bank admin tasks
  • Reconciles contributions for fundraising and GAP
  • Enters cash receipts
  • Tracks timely reporting via grants and proposals database
  • Provides admin support as necessary

Qualifications

    You meet the following qualifications:

    Education

    • Associates degree, BS in Accounting a plus

    Experience

    • Administrative Assistant Experience
    • Experience Coordinating Logistics for International Meetings, including travel
    • Experience reconciling travel and credit card expenses
    • Moderate Microsoft excel skills
    • Prior experience with maintenance and administration of time & expense systems a plus
    • Prior experience using on-line banking systems

    Skills

    •  Strong attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluency in English is required
